Application Process
The process for getting a electrical power pit installed and for a power pit application will vary depending on where you live and the specific regulations in your area. This can be a time consuming process if you not have the appropriate technical knowledge and experience to correctly apply for a electricity supply pit. That's were B-Linked comes in.
1 - Site Plan evaluation
An expert at B-linked will evaluate your site and plans to determine where the best location for your power pit to be installed. This can take a significant amount of time and requires extensive knowledge of the site, process and any potential issues that can arise. B-Linked electrical are registered electrical contractors where we will evaluate the site correctly and submit the power pit application with all relevant documentation.
2 - Application
Once the site has been evaluated, we will need to submit an application for the power pit to be installed by your electrical energy distributor. This will include a detailed plan of the installation, including information on the location of the pit and any maximum demand calculations required. The application will be submitted on behalf of you which will then be reviewed by the electrical energy distributor to ensure it meets all regulations and requirements. Once your power pit quote is approved, construction of underground services can begin.
3 - Installation and Approval
Once the application is approved, A professional contractor from your electrical energy distributor will install the power pit according to the approved plan and regulations. This may include digging a hole for the pit, installing the pit itself, and connecting it to the electrical grid.
